Mother’s Day 2006
Honoring our Mom’s

I am thankful for my mommy because………..
- She is always there for me no matter
what. Rain or shine she will make
time for me. I know who I can go up
to whenever I have a problem at school or just because I need to talk to
someone. I might as well tell her
because she’ll end up finding out either way. My mom is probably the strongest woman
on earth. I don’t see my dad
getting up at 2 in the morning to make sure the kids get up in time for
their trip or how about your dad getting up while he has a cold or 104
degree fever? My mom is just plain
out of this world. She is one of a
kind. - Meliton
Reyna
- She was a wonderful example of
generosity and love. She showed me how to be a good mother
and grandmother. She gave
unselfishly of her time, talents and blessings. - Tissa
Peterson
- She takes care of me. - Jason Perez
- She makes me food and cleans my clothes
and takes care of me. I also
appreciate her for having me. She
is a good mother. - Kimberly
Reyna
- She loves me and prays for me in tough
times. Whenever I’m sick she makes
me soup and heals me. My mom is so
funny, whenever its time to wake up in the morning, she turns on the light
and dances to the weirdest songs.
When I play my songs on the guitar, or at least try to play them, I
sound really bad, and my voice sounds rusty, my mons
always there for me to cheer me on.
She’s my biggest fan. -
Anissa Ramirez
- She gets after me a lot to show me
right from wrong. She shows me how to do a lot of
things. I can talk to her about
problems I have at school. She buys
me stuff. She forces me to go to
school if I am sick. She takes me
to church. She lets me stay home
alone. She takes me to parties and
different places. - Jennifer
Allen
- She gives me food and she gives me
medicine when I need it. I am also
thankful because she buys me clothes and gives me everything I need. - Herman Reyna
- She takes me early to school when I
have a field trip. She stays up all
night when I’m sick and can’t get to sleep. She has a heart for helping others. She
cooks our food. She calms me down
when I’m furious at someone. She
supports me in whatever I do. She
stops me sometimes from hitting my sister.
She always tries to do everything we want her to. She tries her best to please us. She’s one of a kind. -Kelli
Alderman
- She loves me unconditionally, no matter
how much I mess up. She’s always
there with a smile. She knows that
even when I say I hate her I don’t really mean it. I’m thankful for her because she prays
for me. She also helps me when I’m
ill or injured. She’ll run out in
the middle of the night just to get me some cough drops or aspirin. - Kristen Alderman
- Yo quiero mucho
a mi mama. I love my mother very
much. She fixes food for me. - Josie Reyna
