First Baptist Church believes in the power of faith in God.

Hebrews11:1-3 “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. God gave his approval to people in days of old because of their faith. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” NLT

First Baptist Church has the faith to KNOW that God loves our community and desires to restore faith, hope and love in our families and friends. We know that He has a plan and purpose each and every person in Rio Grande City and we simply want to be a part of what He is already doing here.

First Baptist Church has faith in God through our Lord Jesus Christ to believe in His love for Rio Grande City.

We have the faith to love, to serve, to encourage, to help, to teach, to share and to care.
